Title: The Most Epic Disney Trip Ever: Trip Report
Description: By Jennings

Day 1

My alarm went off at 6 that morning, around the same time I wake up for school, on a normal day (meaning when I have school) I’d roll out of bed and tiredly stagger out of my room to get the day started. Let’s cut the crap, I didn’t have time for that, I was going to Disney World!

To skim through a bunch of boring and inconvenient events, we got to the airport, security was a mess, our flight was delayed, and we hit A LOT of turbulence. But, before you knew it we were in sunny, humid, Florida! The heat was such a relief after the infamous Snowmaggeddon, which left my house with 90 inches of snow throughout the winter. We jumped in our rental car (a Jeep Compass if anyone’s interested) and sped off to WDW, Hooooray!

First matter of business, we needed to check in to Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) before driving right across the street to Kidani Village to eat lunch at Sanaa.

Lunch at Sanaa was excellent, you can read my review here.

As we were exiting Sanaa, we were greeted by a friend of ours who had a surprise for us. (Us, as in my Dad, my Sister, and I. My mom’s always in on everything) As a gift to me and my mom for our birthdays, we were sent on a mid-day safari with the Animal Kingdom Lodge Curator, I wish you could have seen my face! We soon boarded the safari truck outside Kidani Village and before you knew it we were in the savannah.

You can view some of the footage I got from the safari truck here.

The tour was great, and very informative. Many questions that had lingered in my head for years were answered, and it was overall a very epic experience. We said our goodbyes to the curator and our friend and soon headed across the street to unpack and settle in our hotel room.
It wasn’t long before we were on our way to dinner that night at Narcoossee’s, which was another good meal. (No review though, sorry!) After dinner we decided to hit a few rides at the Magic Kingdom before turning it in for the night. So off we went in to the chrome ad-filled wonderland that is Tomorrowland. We decided to do the Laugh Floor, which is still funny at times, but could use some new material. We also did Buzz and TTA before leaving. All in all, it was a good day.

Awesome so far!
Would love to see some pics and a review of Narcoossee's if you have some time.

Thanks Jennings!

Well, I won't have a full on review since I only reviewed a few places (I had to summarize everything I was eating on my phone's notepad so I could give accurate reviews), but I do have some photos!

These were the crabcakes, prepared in a cajun style if I'm not mistaken, that's cole slaw in the center.

This is the Chicken Breast, on top of what they call "loaded" mashed potatoes. It's basically mashed potatoes with spinach and bacon in it, and it's really delicious!

And this right here is the Creme Brulee duo, I believe one was key lime, and one was vanilla bean. (But don't hold me to that!)

As for the theming, well, it's not the most original restaurant, the view of the Seven Seas Lagoon is the center of attention and the actual inside is more of a sideshow. Still a pretty good restaurant, even if it's awful pricey.

Thanks for the pics! No problem on a full review, I have heard alot about that restaurant so I was just curious about your thoughts. Thanks so much for sharing!

Hey everyone, hope you can bear with me on the trip report, I'm a little packed this week between Easter Dinners, Passover Seders, Long weekend Parties, Tests, and Hockey Games. I barely have time to breathe! I CAN assure you there will be a new video on sunday, and possibly a new review sometime this week, but I can't promise a new installment of the trip report just yet.

Hope you all understand, and I promise you this will get done!
