Ok, let's see now... Albuquerque sizzle cheescake.
1 cup Southwestern Corn Salsa
2 small packages of Pop Rocks
1/2 cup butter
4 packages of cream cheese
hmm... I think I'm on the right track :P
Pinkcat - May 16, 2007 04:39 PM (GMT)
Sizzle is like bacon, so maybe some of that! (My favorite meat) LOL! Bacon and Cheesecake, oh my tummy is grumbling.
Friend - May 16, 2007 05:42 PM (GMT)
I think pop-rocks are more of a crackle than a sizzle (teehee I said sizzle...)
I think Pink may be on the right track with bacon.... mmmmm...bacon.....

Well I'm into cooking, so I looked on the net to find any types of The Newish Albuquerque Sizzle Cheesecake. If anybody is daring enough to try the recipe, here it is!
The Newish Albuquerque Sizzle Cheesecake
3½ hours 20 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
1 cup finely crushed tortilla chips (They better be New Chips!)
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 (8 ounce) package shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped yellow bell peppers or orange bell peppers or red bell peppers (or a combo of all 3)
1/2 cup chopped green onions (Sizzled in frying pan of course)
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/3 cup chopped tomatoes
Preheat oven to 325.
Stir together chips and margarine and press into a 9-inch springform pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Beatg cream cheese and eggs in large bowl at medium speed until well blended.
Stir in the co-jack cheese and the chilis and pour over crust.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Cool completely.
Spread sour cream over cheese cake and sprinkle on toppings.
Chill 1-2 hours.
Remove from cake pan after chilling.
Let sit out to"soften" a little or you'll break your tortilla chips!
before serving.
Serve on platter surrounded by tortilla chips and celery sticks.
