Title: Report Player

SKKaty - June 1, 2009 01:42 AM (GMT)
Just sitting in FunSpot for over an hour trying to get one person to play a legitimate game of Fast Draw! All I have been wanting to do is play Fast Draw but every person who joins refuses to actually draw and just spells out their word, totally annoying.

At any rate, this is the first time I have been in a room other then being preoccupied in missions to actually listen to what some of these kids are saying.
I am appalled!
I truly miss VMK now, where it was near impossible to say anything bad.
From girls telling guys to follow them to their room for avatar sex to attacking people's sexuality all because they refused to give them tokens.
I used the player report option for one individual. I was just wondering if anyone knew how much this really even does? How are the staff in the game? And are there set rules against this behavior?

I really could not believe some of this crap.

Dealing with and getting irritated with hopeless kids and paying to do so was a concept that just didn't sit right with me.. and the taste I got was only in their forums. That was enough for me.

I'm sorry I was not around Skkaty, I really enjoy fast draw. So anytime you want to play let me know.

Here are a few tips I've learned for dealing with overly sexual players and or beggers.

1. Report!!!!! I have had very good luck reporting sexual actions to staff. Most of the time they come running.

2. You should also reoprt anyone that says they are under 13, SW is NOT for kids.

3. Block players from following you. They will not be able to come to your rooms and beg you for tokens or gold.

4. Get lots of magic. I know it sounds mean but some kids get embarassed and leave the room if you hit them with a lot of magic.

5. Take a picture with your in game camera and send it to staff. I have done that with photos or youtube clips that are in poor taste.

6. Look for players that have SWAT in there mottos. It stands for Small Worlds After 20. I have also seen SWOT Small Worlds over Thrity. And for some of us (although I dont say it that much) SWPF Small Worlds Pushing Forty LOL. That last one was a joke HAHA

7. If you can aford to be a member the Aqua Club is a good place to hang out with ppl that REALLY want to play the game.

8. Lastly, ignore them. SW doesnt have an ignore button like VMK did but you can talk on a private channels (like the Masterminds channel ) in the game. You can have so many more ppl in a room at once that I just stopped reading all the chat unless someone is speaking to me or on one of my channels.

I didnt mean to go on and on I'm sorry but I hope some of these tips will help. I would really love to see some familiar faces in the game.

All great tips from Josie right there - she beat me to it.

When reporting bad players - be sure to include as much detail including "quoted" clips from their poor behavior. The more foul you get in your report - the quicker they come running.

Also, most times when a Mod pops into the room because of a report - you will hardly see any chatter between the player and the Mod - thisis because they use Whisper to warn - so just because you are not seeing them being reprimanded does not mean that it is not happening.

I have used report many times and have seen instant results almost always.

I have a FastDraw game in my Home Space - I also will play anytime you want - it is great fun - I just need to go empty my bladder before we start playing - because I usually get laughing so hard that it could be dangerous...

In the past I offered a game night in my room but shorty after that everyone stopped logging in, hehe. I would love to start a game night if ppl are up to it. I think it could be a roit to play fast draw with teams maybe. It would at least be a good LOL

Oh really? I didn't know that, good to know.
I was getting upset because I thought alot of young kids would be hearing this stuff. Still doesn't make it right, but at least they are not supposed to be on.
