I am really hoping that more of you join this game. I honestly think we could get our group back together and expand and make new friends in the world of Elf Island. I enjoy Small Worlds but I really like the 2D of Elf Island rather then the 3D that Small Worlds offers. True, the graphics are not the greatest, but it is much easier to get around and to have conversations.

Anyways - I am putting together this game guide in the hopes that it will make some of you want to join, or help those of you to find all the games Elf Island offers.

Please help me out if there are any games or areas I have missed.

You begin your journey into new areas by clicking on the map. Run your cursor over the map to highlight certain areas that you may want to visit.




The Meadow



There are two games in the meadow. The first game is located where you see the pie that says "Click Me." When you click on the pie a small screen will come up to begin your game.



Pie Game:

Difficulty: Hard
Coin Rating: Very Poor

The object is to throw pies by positioning your target with the mouse and clicking to throw. This game was extremely slow for me and the points were difficult for me to achieve. Only once did I make it past Round One and I was awarded one coin for it. So far in my experience, it is not a high coin scoring game.

The second game in the meadow is located in the hole of the tree. When you run your cursor over it, it will start to sparkle.

Slim Pickins:

Difficulty: Medium
Coin Rating: Fair





This game is similar to Mine Sweeper. You click on the bananas and then numbers pop up telling you how many bad fruits there are surrounding the bananas. I enjoy the game, but for some reason I cannot get make to the main map when the game is over. Perhaps it is a glitch, or perhaps I am not seeing the correct place to get me back to the map. Let me know if you've found a way.


The Savanna



The game to play in the Savanna can be located inside the tree on the right hand side of your screen. When you scroll your mouse over it, you once again see it sparkle.

Mahjong:

Difficulty: Medium
Coin Rating: Fair



This is a favorite game of mine although the coins are nothing to write home about. The object of this game is make matching pairs to uncover all tiles. You receive coins even if you do not finish the entire puzzle. When clearing the board the coins are only slightly higher then when you cannot finish.


The Marsh





Fly into the treehouse to get to your next game. Once inside click on the scarecrow to begin.

Scarecrow Game:

Difficulty: Medium
Coin Rating: Very Poor

It took me a while to get the hang of this game which is why I placed it at Medium. When you click on the scarecrow, he drops to the table. You need to put him back together by dragging his parts to the right spot. The part that you need to put on first will be highlighted in light green. Make sure to find this part, because you cannot go out of order. After finishing the scarecrow, I received 5 points.


The Rock Hills



Go into the cave that is lit up by sparkles to reach the next game.

Pit Mining:

Difficulty: Easy
Coin Rating: Excellent



Use your arrow keys to move side to side and the space bar to release the ball. You need to break all the blocks on your screen without letting the ball fall beneath you. Make sure to try and grab some of the things that fall from the blocks. You can get extra lives, a bigger leaf, more balls, etc.


The Mountain Cave



Click inside the ice cave on the left side of the screen to find the next game.

Sub Zero Surfer:

Difficulty: Medium
Coin Rating: Excellent



Use your mouse to move your surfer from side to side and up and down. I find it best to keep your mouse as far up on the screen as possible so that your surfer can see all obstacles in time to avoid hitting them. Try to move your surfer so that he goes over the jumps. When he goes over the jumps, hit the A S or D button to do tricks. Avoid hitting all other objects to get a high score.


Ice Cavern



Once inside the ice cavern, go into the cave on the right side of your screen to enter the next room.



Go inside the door that is sparkling on the bottom right side of the screen.

Snow Flake Flip Out:

Difficulty: Medium - Hard
Coin Rating: Poor





Use your mouse to move the troll from side to side. Try not to let any of the snow flakes fall through. Use the guide to find out which dropping items to collect and which to avoid.


The Volcano



Click on the door on the right hand of the screen to get to game inside this room.

Crawlspace:

Difficulty: Medium
Coin Rating: Poor



Use your arrow keys to move your spider up towards the flies at the top of the screen. Watch out for fire balls and other bugs that may try to stop you. The coins were not great but I did not spend a lot of time playing this game.


The RainForest



Click on the top hole underneath the door on the left hand side of the screen. The hole should light up.

Operation Tiki Take Down:

Difficulty: Easy
Coin Rating: Fair



Double click on blocks of the same color that are next to each other to clear the blocks. Keep the screen cleared as best as possible until you can no longer clear blocks. I played this game to 10,000 points before deciding to quit so I could move on with other games. I received 102 coins.

Also in the RainForest - click near the top of the very tall tree on the right hand side of the screen. This will take you into a new RainForest room.



Find the hole in the tree that sparkles in the top right corner of the screen.

Fruitworks:

Difficulty: Easy
Coin Rating: Fair

Use your mouse to move the fruit to the exact position that you want to shoot it. Shoot it towards groups of the same fruit to make three or more. These will then explode and keep you in the game. Let the fruits build up too much and you will surely lose.


The Beach



Click in the window of the tower near the top left corner of the screen.

Hydro Hero:

Difficulty: Medium
Coin Rating: Poor




Use your up and down arrow keys to move your scuba diver up and down the screen to avoid toxic waste. Hit the space bar to fire at the items that are coming at you. Hit the spacebar several times in a row to fire a bunch of blasts.

I have not yet tried it, however from the looks of it, the game looks...so so. IMO, the graphics are not very well done, it looks like a combo of neopets, a jumpstart game, and disney fairies online.
