Well hello hello hello everyone! I guess I should introduce myself to those that don't know me... I am Jovey, also known as Jovey4 and Jadestar. I've drawn cartoons and doodles since I was in Fifth grade, and have matured into an amateur cartoonist. I decided to try and earn a new audience for my art and that's where this art idea came into place. This is the first site where I'll be opening business with my cartooning skills, and I'm looking forward to it. No, I don't expect to be paid with money - that would just be silly! :D
So anyway I'll start out by being charitable and doing 3 free cartoon images described by the first three different people to request images.

Dude, if it's no trouble, i would love to have my VMK Character in a Jungle Cruise boat yelling at all the other Jungle Cruise Boaters saying "why don't any of you ever talk?" in about signature size. Haha!

Okay just a little update, I'm almost done with Ace's Splash Mountain cartoon and then I will be moving on to the last charity cartoon. Then I will move onto orders :D

In the meantime before my next cartoon release, check out this fan art I drew for Aengus's Today In VMK podcast!

(also located in Mastermind's Today In VMK section).

If you dont already you should try doing those with vector graphics instead of raster/bitmap. If you dont get what I mean its like in word how clipart has the same image quality no matter how big it gets. I'd reccomend inkscape, its free.

Personally, I think your drawings rock Jovey, and vector images aren't really needed for what you do, since sizes of your images aren't usually changed, and from what i've heard, vector images are troublesome. Just keep on keepin' on man! :woot:

Even if you dont make them on a vector art program you can still convert the bitmap to one and use it as a comic as a .pdf.

I just started practicing manga now along with a style by rimfrost on deviantART (http://www.rimfrost.deviantart.com/)

Anyways, I just want to say I'm almost done with the finaly charity project, and that as soon as I'm done with that I will begin taking orders from others. So please don't think I'm ignoring you if you have requested something, because as everyone knows, art takes time, and good art takes who knows how much time. I will notify everyone of my fees (not in real money, because that's probably illegal for all I know @_@) once I am done with the charity stuff. I will have a once-a-month contest out of random people that I will do a charity project for.

I know how vector graphics work don't worry, and I would use them if I could get a good free version for Macs. However since those are so hard to come by, it is very unlikely that I will produce much (if at all) vector material.

(p.s. check out mah new siggy, it is totally dabombzors, no?)

I believe it's a G4... anyways I'm not allowed to download anything onto it because I don't have any admin privelages on it... My dad's a real paranoid guy, and he's taught me well in the ways of cyber security (just got 1st place in cyber security at a regional competition lolz...). Well onto business! I'm a cartoonist, and that means I'm notoriously lazy, thus, I should have the last charity cartoon done by Monday (I hope :pray: ). After that, I can start taking orders :D in the meantime, check out my good friends (or rather my favorite artists) on deviantart! They're sure to help you pass the time with all their humourus gags and tomfoolery!

Hmm I should have more clearly explained this. My dad is like really REALLY paranoid... apparently he had one too many PC's fall victim to viruses, and even though I once proved to him that clicking on one of those "free mouse icon" things and downloading it would do nothing on a mac, he still wouldn't believe me... so that's that I guess...

Well I finally got it! It took me a while of procrastinating, but I finally finished the last charity drive picture! Here you are, Jess!

Ouch, Im not sure if I said this but you can use vectormagic.com, it converts bitmap to vector, but its not .pdf so I dont see much use for it in your case.
