Title: Lunch With An Imagineer

A few people asked me about on my opinion of it so here we go.
First off its in Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Brown Derby. When you first enter you check in and get a platics pin with your name and mickey mouse on it sort of like the CMs. If you do are not paying for 10 seats be aware that there will be people you don't know there. However the company is quite fun once questions star flying. You eat in a room that is set off from the others called the Bamboo Room. For starters they served an Pyster and Brie soup, however I got chicken noddle soup. I thought it was funny because when the waiter offered me chicken noodle to adults there also asked for it :D . Then you get their specialty Cobb Salad(DELICIOUS  ). For the entree you can either have a NY Strip steak with mashed potatoes, thai noodles with barbeque chicken or a grouper wit asparagus. I chose the steak and taters and they were both great but I was assured by the people who ordered other things that the others were also awesome. Desert was the best part with Creme Brulee and dark chocolate dipped biscotti.
Now for the important part of this. I had the pleasure of eating with David Hoffman, who is an art director who helped create the Kidcots in Epcot and currenly is incharge of art in MGM. He gave some great information about things going on in the park such as Midway Mania. I'd like to say more but before we went in the person who basically ran it I guess said something about not releasing any information and that if we ran forums or newspaper or anything we'd have to sign a release form type thing but I wasn't really paying attention. It was a great time, I met new people who we met later on in the trip and did some rides with, got great information and got a great meal. I would recommend this to anyone interested. Afterwards they give you a glass plate with a gold sorcerer mickey and sign it for you. Pics of the plate an menu are soon to come.

Did a quick search on Dine with a Disney Imagineer but it appears to only be available in MGM

Bummer. That means i'll have to wait a bit longer before I can do this. We live way closer to DLR than WDW, so we probably won't be going to WDW any time soon.
